Prepare before switching
Verify domain ownership and prepare eligible Mail hosting and destination mailboxes first. If moving providers, plan historical-mail migration separately.
Keep your current MX records until Brenwy receiving is confirmed ready. Changing MX affects new incoming delivery and does not migrate old messages.
Use the records in Email hosting
Open the domain’s Email hosting settings. Publish the exact MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records and values supplied for that domain.
MX controls incoming delivery. SPF identifies authorised envelope-sender systems; DKIM supports signed-message authentication; DMARC checks alignment and publishes handling/reporting policy.
Keep one SPF policy at each DNS name and include all legitimate senders. Review existing website, invoicing and newsletter senders before tightening authentication policy.
Verify and test
Recheck readiness in the application after DNS changes. Test sending to an external mailbox and receiving a reply, and check message authentication results.
For failures, include the affected domain, time and non-secret error text in a support request. Do not send private signing keys, passwords or account tokens.
